About Us

In June of 2016, our family purchased 16 acres of land in Yanceyville, NC and named it Clover Trails Farm. The farm includes rolling pastures and tranquil wooded retreats with a stream that runs through the back of the property. The mission of Clover Trails farm is to provide farm-based educational programs for all ages.

At Clover Trails Farm, much like the Farm-Based Educational Network (FBEN), we believe hands-on learning builds confidence, self-awareness, and responsibility, which leads to a healthy stewardship of the earth. We believe farm-based education promotes respect for nature, manual work, society and ourselves. We believe raising food is fundamental to our global community. We believe people should learn more about agriculture and where their food comes from. We believe in practicing and promoting sustainability. We also believe the natural cycles seen and experienced on a farm lead to a deeper understanding of the world.
