Help Support Clover Trails Farm

We have thoroughly enjoyed hosting summer camp over the past 3 years. We offer very low camper fees, probably the lowest you'll find, so that every child has a greater potential of joining us. On a rare occasion, we have even waived camp tuition for special circumstances.

The real reward for us is the fun that each child has learning on our farm. But, to offset the costs of running the camp, and the farm, we accept donations as investments in the future of these young people.

Did You Know?

  • The average fescue hay is actually toxic to horses, cows and other livestock. Quality orchard hay, that is healthy to graze on, starts at $12/sq. bail. During the winter months when pastures are thin, 1–400 lb. pony can eat 5 bails of hay in a month's time.
  • Supplies for one camper, including materials for crafts such as hot glue, parachute cord, paint, wood, beads, food for cooking camp, and legos for lego camp, etc., is about $50-75/week. These costs don't include supplies for group activities like the gigantic slip and slide, daily maintenance and up-keep.
  • Chickens eat the same amount whether or not they are laying dozens of eggs per week or just a few. Egg production goes down significantly when the days get colder and shorter.
